Plans & Pricing
What counts as a "simulation minute"?
A simulation minute is one minute of synthesized call between a Coval-driven persona and your voice agent. If a test call runs 4 minutes, it uses 4 simulation minutes. We don't round up.
What happens if I exceed my plan's minutes?
You keep shipping. Overages are billed at your tier's published per-minute rate: $0.40/min on Starter, $0.25/min on Growth, negotiated on Enterprise. Overage accrues in real time in your billing dashboard so there are no month-end surprises.
Can I change plans mid-billing-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Do you offer annual contracts or discounts?
Annual billing saves 20% on Starter and Growth. Enterprise contracts are custom, typically annual, and often include multi-year discounts.
What happens after my 7-day trial ends?
Your account converts to the plan you signed up for. We send a reminder two days before the trial ends. You can cancel from inside the app at any time before or after conversion.
Why does the trial require a credit card?
It keeps the evaluation signal clean and lets us spin up real infrastructure for you on day one. You are not charged during the trial.
Simulation & Monitoring
What's the difference between simulation minutes and monitored calls?
Simulation minutes measure synthetic test calls Coval runs against your agent, the work of evaluating. Monitored calls measure real production traffic passing through your Coval metrics, the work of observing. They serve different workflows and are billed separately.
Can I simulate with my own voice agent, or only the ones you integrate with?
Any voice agent reachable via phone or webhook. If your setup is custom, our docs walk through the integration in under an hour.
Which agent platforms do you integrate with?
First-class integrations with Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs, and Twilio. Custom webhook integration covers anything else. If you're on a platform we haven't named, it probably still works.
How long do you retain my traces?
30 days on Starter, 90 days on Growth, custom retention on Enterprise up to unlimited.
Human Review Queues
How does a call get routed to human review?
Failure-driven queues and smart sampling route calls based on rules you configure. You can route on metric failures, specific scenarios, or a random sample rate.
Who reviews the calls, your team or mine?
Your team. Coval provides the queue, reviewer UI, and metric capture. We don't staff a review team.
Can I configure custom routing rules?
Yes. Rules compose metric conditions, scenario tags, and sampling rates. Complex multi-condition routing is available on Growth and up.
Security & Compliance
Is HIPAA really included on Starter?
Yes, really! We love startups in healthcare and support HIPAA-ready infrastructure for everyone improving their agents. A signed BAA requires Enterprise.
How do I get a BAA?
BAAs are part of Enterprise. Book a demo and we'll route you to contracting.
Where is my data stored and processed?
US-based by default. EU or other regional data residency is available on Enterprise.
Can I self-host Coval?
Private deployment and VPC options are available on Enterprise.
Can I get a custom DPA?
Yes, on Enterprise. A standard GDPR-compliant DPA is available on all tiers.
Billing & Contracts
Can I pay by invoice, PO, or ACH?
Starter is card only. Growth adds ACH. Enterprise supports PO and invoice billing.
Do you offer multi-year contracts?
Yes, on Enterprise. Multi-year commitments typically unlock additional discount.
What's your cancellation policy?
Monthly plans cancel anytime in-app. Annual plans cancel at the end of the term. Enterprise cancellations follow the contract.
How does overage billing work?
Overages accrue in real time against your published rate and are billed at the end of the billing period.
